Marathon Consulting Expands to Central Virginia

Marathon Consulting is pleased to announce its recent expansion into the central Virginia IT services market. In October, Marathon won an engagement to enhance certain web-based applications currently operated by Old Dominion Electric Cooperative. "ODEC" and its 12 member cooperatives serve electricity consumers in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. In Virginia, ODEC distribution covers approximately 40% of the land mass. In Maryland and Delaware, ODEC covers approximately 80% of the land mass. ODEC operates power generation facilities in Virginia and Maryland and holds financial interests in several others. In addition to Old Dominion Electric Cooperative, Marathon is pursuing other application development opportunities with several Richmond-based organizations.
