PAF Data Migration and Reporting
Patient Advocate Foundation is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides professional case management services to Americans with chronic, life-threatening, and debilitating illnesses.
PAF case managers serve as active liaisons between the patient and their insurer, employer, and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job retention and/or debt crisis matters as they relate to their diagnosis also assisted by doctors and healthcare attorneys.
Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) engaged Marathon to assist them with a large-scale data migration and custom report development project called The Beacon Project. PAF implemented a new enterprise-wide patient management system that replaced 4 legacy systems. Marathon was responsible for migrating data from the legacy databases, translating the data to fit into the target database schema, and finally loading the data to the final target database tables. Marathon also developed approximately 30 new Microsoft Reporting Services reports that targeted the BeaconDB database and replaced legacy versions of the reports.
