Marathon Consulting Expands to Central Virginia
Richmond, Virginia December 01, 2007 - Marathon Consulting is pleased to announce its recent expansion into the central Virginia IT services market. In October, Marathon won an engagement to enhance certain web-based applications currently operated by Old Dominion Electric Cooperative. “ODEC” and its 12 member cooperatives serve electricity consumers in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. In Virginia, ODEC distribution covers approximately 40% of the land mass. In Maryland and Delaware, ODEC covers approximately 80% of the land mass. ODEC operates power generation facilities in Virginia and Maryland and holds financial interests in several others.
