Marathon consultants have a range of education technology experience, primarily directed at application software development university settings. Specific applications have ranged from Standards of Learning (SOL) testing to Web applications geared toward values-based, self-help instruction for university students.

Marathon also designed and developed Web software for educational use by elementary and middle school mathematics students. This educational software utilized several diverse and highly graphic technologies to enable remote students to perform complex geometric calculations online.

Client Success: Old Dominion University

Old Dominion University came to Marathon when they wanted an innovative and interactive way for fans of ODU's sports programs to participate in their team's games.   Marathon developed a mobile app capable of delivering real time statistics for ODU Football and Basketball (both Men's and Women's). 

The Old Dominion Athletic Foundation (ODAF) required a new Website and Internet-based application to promote the Club and provide a broader range of information.  Marathon designed and developed a new website for ODAF - www.olddominionaf.com.
