Marathon Consulting has been provides a variety of Information Technology (IT) services to Gold Key/PHR Hotels and Resorts including Website Design & Development, Database Design & Development, Business Intelligence/OLAP, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and most recently SharePoint assistance.

Gold Key/PHR Hotels and Resorts manages some of the most successful resorts and restaurants located at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Marathon successfully helped Gold Key/PHR migrate their legacy hotel and restaurant sites into a .NET platform that was supported by a custom Content Management System that served up data from a SQL Server database. While helping redesign and redevelop the various websites, Marathon also assisted Gold Key/PHR optimize the sites for better search engine performance to increase web traffic.

Marathon also assisted Gold Key/PHR is developing numerous internal applications to help facilitate daily operations. These efforts included building an application to help track and manage contact and question information submitted through the hotel and restaurant websites, developing an application to help automate the annual budget creation process as well as a creating a utility to automate the download of daily hotel reservation data for operational reporting.
