Marathon Launches 24SevenCities.com
24SevenCities turned to Marathon when they needed to launch their daily web magazine - 24SevenCities.com. 24SevenCities is a cultural, art, and entertainment publication headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia. The publisher went forward with a progressive plan to link a highly interactive social media site with a series of bi-weekly publications. These high quality, 4-color magazines each focus on a specific topic: food, entertainment, the arts, music, shopping, residential stylings, etc. The site gives readers the opportunity to provide feedback on feature articles, blogs, and other content, either digital or print.
Under an extremely tight deadline, Marathon worked with 24SevenCities to design and create an online publication using WordPress and MySQL. The site features a RSS feeds, blogging, CMS, and banner advertising.
