In addition to Marathon-managed projects, we also offer consulting services on a Staff Augmentation, or
“Staff Aug” basis. Clients use this arrangement to meet peak resource demands in those cases where they intend to
fully manage the daily activities of the Marathon consultants.
Typical Staff Augmentation engagements are defined for a specific duration, during which Marathon provides one or more consultants
knowledgeable in the client-defined technology platforms. Clients are billed for the number of hours the
consultant works during the week, at a predetermined hourly rate. Typical Staff Aug engagement last three months
or more. Clients have the right to terminate the consulting engagement for convenience with two-week notice, or immediately
in the event of consultant misconduct, or where there is an obvious mismatch to the assignment.
Discounts from the standard hourly rate are available for long term engagements.
